Admittedly, as informed by learned counsel for the petitioner, the road on which the encroachment has been alleged, is a public road within Gram Sabha- Dashrathpur, Tehsil- Patti, District- Pratapgarh, therefore, there is a remedy available under Section 26 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 or for that matter under Section 152 BNSS, 2023 corresponding to Section 133 CrPC. 3. The petitioner may, if there is a cause, avail such remedy or he may approach the concerned official of the Public Works Department which maintains the record. 4.
