This contempt appeal, preferred under Section 19(1)(a) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 1971”) has been pending since 2015. The appeal has been repeatedly adjourned at the behest of the appellant, and the respondents have strongly objected to the repeated grant of adjournments, which prompted this Court, on 9th September 2025, to grant a last chance to the appellant. 3. The present contempt appeal is directed against the order delivered by the learned Single Judge of this Court on 2nd September 2015, wherein the following observations were made: …“ 41.
