After some hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he gives up other prayers, with regard to challenging the Catering Policy, 2017 of the Railways. 2. He submits that he restricts the present writ petition only to the grant of 07 months time to the petitioner for vacating the unit of the petitioner, in terms of the orders passed by this Court. 3. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with respect to catering services at Special Minor Unit (“SMU”) Catering Stall (Stall No. MSH-8) at Platform No. 2/3, between Pole No. 14 and 15 at Mahesana Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:HARIOM SHARMA W.P.(C) 16531/2025 Page 1 of 5 Signing Date:03.11.2025 09:55:44 Railway Station. 4. It is submitted that a Letter of Award dated 20th June, 2019 was issued by the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Western Railway, Ahmedabad, by way of which, the said Catering Stall was granted in favour of the petitioner. 5. As per the Master License Agreement dated 07th December, 2021 between the respondent – Railways and the petitioner, the contract period commenced from 12th November, 2020, for a period of five years.
