The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent to release water from the water line, which was laid on the service road near Jamia Hamdard University, Batra Hospital and Tughlakabad Institutional Area. 2. When the matter was listed on 15th October, 2025, the following order came to be passed: “1. By last order, directions had been issued to the Delhi Jal Board (“DJB”) to take instructions as regards the grant of water supply to the premises of the petitioner University, i.e., Jamia Hamdard Deemed to be University. 2. Today, learned counsel appearing for the DJB has handed over a Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:HARIOM SHARMA Signing Date:01.11.2025 15:40:35 copy of an Email, which her office has received from the Executive Engineer (C)-32, DJB, wherein, it is stated that the DJB is committed to provide water connection to the Jamia Hamdard Society. 3. As per the said E-mail, a proposal for the said water connection is under preparation, and that the process had been delayed due to certain technical reasons. 4.
