This writ petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report dated 24.8.2024 giving rise to Case Crime No.2350 of 2024 under section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003, Police Station Anti Power Theft P.S. Firozabad, District Anti Power Theft (Firozabad). The petitioners have also prayed that they be not arrested in pursuance of the impugned FIR. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the offence, as stated in the FIR, is compoundable and the petitioner is ready to apply for compounding the offence for which the FIR was lodged. Learned counsel, therefore, states that the petitioner would file an application before the authority concerned under section 152 of the Electricity Act. 4. Learned AGA appears for respondent nos.1
