Heard Sri Arvind Kumar Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned AGA for the State-respondents and Sri Baleshwar Chaturvedi for the Electricity Department. 2. This writ petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report dated 7.9.2024 giving rise to Case Crime No.4886 of 2024 under section 135 of the Electricity Act (Amendment), 2003, Police Station Anti Power Theft, District Mathura. The petitioner have also prayed that she be not arrested in pursuance of the impugned FIR. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the offence, as stated in the FIR, is compoundable and the petitioner is ready to apply for compounding the offence for which the FIR was lodged. Learned counsel, therefore, states that the petitioner would file an application before the authority concerned under section 152 of the Electricity Act. 4. Lea
