HON'BLE ACHAL SACHDEV, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for State. 2. This writ petition has been preferred for quashing the F.I.R. dated 4.7.2025 being Case Crime No. 2487 of 2025, under Sections 135-1(a) of Indian Electricity (Amendment) Act, 2003, Police Station-Anti Power Theft Thana, Gautam Buddha Nagar, District - Anti Power Theft. 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that offence as stated in the F.I.R. is compoundable and the petitioner is ready to apply for compounding of the offence compounded for which the F.I.R. has been lodged. 4. Learned counsel for the State also submits that if the petitioner files an application under Section 152 of the Electricity Act within a week, the same shall be decided within a period of three weeks. 5.
