The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution has been preferred by the petitioner seeking a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to conduct fair investigation in F.I.R. dated 01.07.2025, giving rise to Case Crime No. 197 of 2025, under Section 87 B.N.S., Police Station Kotwali, District Jaunpur and to recover the daughter of the petitioner from the illegal custody of respondent no. 4 within a determinate period of time. 2. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.K. Ojha, learned A.G.A. appearing on behalf of the State and perused the material available on record. 3. After some length of arguments, learned A.G.A. appearing on behalf of the State apprised the Court that the investigation has been completed and after completion of investigation a final report has been filed on 23.08.2
