Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is the father- in-law of the victim. The applicant is named in the F.I.R. along with his son, who happens to be husband of the victim. The victim is the mother of three children. The F.I.R. alleges that on the alleged date the applicant has committed rape of the victim forcibly and thereafter he also made sexual relations with her several times while extending threats to her. In her statements recorded under Section 180 & 183 B.N.S.S. the victim has reiterated the version of F.I.R. by making bald allegations against the applicant for commission of her rape, but she has made only allegation of marpeet against her husband.
