Heard. 2. This is an application seeking review of the judgement dated 18.9.2024 passed in Writ-A No. 6573 of 2022. 3. The said petition was allowed in part only on the quantum of punishment as this Court found that the punishment imposed was harsh, excessive and disproportionate to the charges. Obviously, the order of dismissal which was impugned to the extent it imposed the punishment of dismissal had to be set aside, but it seems that due to oversight while allowing the writ petition in part, we did not quash the order of dismissal to the extent of punishment it imposed. Impliedly it has become ineffective. Nevertheless, it appears that on account of the said error, the opposite parties are interpreting the judgement otherwise against the petitioner.
