The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondents to grant necessary permission for organizing „Maa Bhagwati Jagran‟ near the Foot Over Bridge, In-Gate, Bus Depot, Delhi on Saturday, i.e., 01st November, 2025. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the said Jagran is being conducted for the past several years in the same place. He submits that a letter dated 08th October, 2025 was duly written to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (“MCD”) for granting the requisite permission for holding the Jagran at the place in question. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already obtained No Objection Certificate (“NOC”)/approval from the Delhi Fire Services on 24th October, 2025, as well as from the Delhi Traffic Police on 14th October, 2025. 4.
