Counsel for respondent no. 2 points out that an application dated 01.04.2024 was filed, inter alia, indicating the death of respondent no. 2 on 01.06.2023 and a copy of the application was duly served on counsel for the petitioner, however, no steps have been taken by the petitioners for impleadment of legal representatives, though names of legal representatives were also indicated in the said application and, therefore, the writ petition stands abated. 2. Despite the fact that an application was filed on 01.04.2024 indicating the death of respondent no. 2 on 01.06.2023, as no steps have been taken for bringing on record the legal representatives of deceased, respondent no. 2, the petition stands abated and the same is, therefore, dismissed as having abated.
