Having heard learned Counsel for both the parties, we are disposing of this writ petition with their consent. 2. The petitioner joined the Indian Coast Guard1 as a Navik (GD) on 20 August 2022. 3. On 4 March 2022, the Staff Selection Commission issued a notification inviting applications for recruitment for the post of Sub- 1 “ICG” hereinafter W.P.(C) 17314/2025 4. On 17 March 2024, the petitioner sought permission to apply for the post of SI in the Border Security Force4. There is no written response to the said letter till date. 5.
