This is an appeal, which was filed in 2013, challenging a judgment and order dated 09.10.2012 passed in Writ Petition No. 1948 (S/S) of 1993. 3. The respondent-petitioner was appointed on the post of Collection Amin in 1988 on the basis of his qualification of Madhyama. His services were terminated on 26.02.1993 on the ground that qualification of Madhyama was not equivalent to Intermediate and was not recognized as such. There was an interim order operating during pendency of the writ petition in pursuance to which the respondent-petitioner continued in service. The writ petition was ultimately allowed on 09.10.2012.
