This appeal is directed against the order dated 12.03.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ-A No. 2862 of 2025 whereby the petition filed by the appellant, aggrieved of rejection of his candidature based on his failing in the physical efficiency test, has been dismissed. 2. The appellant applied for the recruitment to the post of Constable in Civil Police. After passing the written examination and documents verification and clearing the physical standard test, the appellant was subjected to physical efficiency test and was required to run a distance of 4.8 kilometres within 25 minutes. The appellant completed the said run in 25:00:05 due to which his candidature has been rejected. 3. Feeling aggrieved, petition was filed seeking re-conduct of physical efficiency test.
