The Petitioner is before us seeking a Writ of Mandamus to prevent the Corporation from carrying out recovery of amounts purportedly paid to him, inadvertently. He was promoted as a Sanitary Inspector on 9th April, 2013. The Corporation believed that he had passed the Marathi Examination.
