The present petition is filed for quashing and setting aside of the order dated 18.02.2025 (hereafter ‘impugned order’), passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-05 (‘ASJ’), Dwarka Courts, New Delhi, in Criminal Appeal No. 271/2023 whereby the appeal filed by the petitioner challenging the judgment of conviction dated 20.04.2023 and order on sentence dated 28.04.2023 was dismissed. 2. By the judgment of conviction dated 20.04.2023, the petitioner was convicted for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (‘NI Act’) in CC No. 3710/2018.
