This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to conduct free and fair independent inquiry into the faulty construction of CC roads and drains in the different wards of Nagar Panchayat, Ambheta, District Saharanpur. 2. Submissions have been made that the petitioner is a Press Reporter for local daily newspaper and has no personal interest in the matter. 3. Various works have been undertaken by the Nagar Panchayat for laying of CC roads and drains, however, the work has not been undertaken as per the norms.
