This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed seeking to protect the waqf property of Jama Masjid of Shahganj, District Jaunpur created under waqf deed dated 30.12.1955 from respondent no. 5 and other land grabbers. 2. A perusal of the representation made by the petitioner, Annexure-7 indicates that the land in question has been mutated in the name of respondent no. 5 in the records of Nagar Palika Parishad, Shahganj, District Jaunpur based on which, sale deeds dated 07.05.2025 and 20.06.2025 have been executed by respondent no. 5. 3. It is submitted that the property in question is not registered under the provisions of the Waqf Act, 1995 and that in terms of the directions given in the waqf deed, for lack of any Mutwalli, the property can be looked after by general public,
