This Public Interest Litigation was filed in the year 2017 for removal of encroachments on parks which were named after freedom fighters. Counter affidavit has been filed stating that continuous efforts are being made to remove such encroachments, however, it also speaks of non- availability of police force being an impediment. Nevertheless, in view of the issue involved, we dispose of this petition with observation/ direction that the respondents concerned, especially, respondent nos.3 to 6 shall get an on the spot inspection conducted as to encroa
