The petition has been filed purportedly in public interest seeking a direction to the respondents to remove all illegal encroachments and constructions over the public utility land in Gram Sabha Village- Bhuapur, Amhat, Pargana Meeranpur, Tehsil Sadar, District-Sultanpur. 2. Submissions have been made that land in question is recorded as 'pond' and 12 houses have been built and that further sale deeds have been executed. 3. A perusal of the record indicates that the constructions, which have been alleged as encroachments, are apparently very old and the sale deeds pertains to the year 2008 in favour of the respondent nos. 6 to 16. 4.
