The Municipal Commissioner, Nagar Nigam, Ayodhya vide its order dated 14.5.2024 had constituted a committee to inquire into certain illegalities/irregularities. The grievance in this PIL is that the inquiry is still pending. 3. The counsel for Nagar Nigam, Ayodhya says that some officers were transferred and a new committee has been constituted on 6.8.2025. He has placed before us an order in this regard. It is informed that the said committee has submitted its report on 30.9.2025 which is under consideration by the Municipal Commissioner. 4. Let the Municipal Commissioner, Ayodhya take a decision as may be required in law, at the earliest. 5. The petition is disposed of accordingly without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issues. (Rajeev Bharti,J
