The present petition has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter “the Act”), seeking appointment of an Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes that have arisen between the parties under Professional Service Agreement dated 15.01.2025 (hereinafter “the Agreement”). 2. The case of the petitioner is that the parties entered into the Agreement, under the terms of which he was appointed as an Assitant Resident Engineer for a period of forty-eight months. The services of the petitioner was terminated vide Termination Letter dated 15.05.2025 causing loss of professional reputation and significant financial hardships to the petitioner. 3.
