The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 181/2022 dated 05.05.2022, registered at Police Station Safdarjung Enclave, for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Chargesheet has been filed in the present case under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC. 3. It is averred that the marriage between Petitioner No.1 and 1. 4. Subsequently, Respondent No.2 made a complaint against Petitioner No. 1 and his family members alleging that she was subjected to cruelty by them, which later culminated into the present FIR. 5.
