This appeal under Section 30 (1) of the Employees’ Compensation Act, 1923 (the EC Act) has been filed assailing the judgment dated 27.10.2016 passed by respondent no. 3, namely, the Commissioner, Employees’ Compensation, Government of NCT of Delhi, Labour Department, Partap Nagar, Hari Nagar, New Delhi, whereby the claim application under Section 22 of the EC Act filed by respondent nos.1 and 2 herein has been allowed. 2. The claimants, the widow and son of the deceased, filed an application dated 23.04.2014 before the Commissioner seeking compensation under the EC Act.
