The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 836/2023 dated 17.12.2023, registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar, for offences under Sections 324/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’). 2. The brief facts are that the father of Respondent No. 2 owns a shop namely Sagar Bombay Drycleaner. It is alleged that on 16.12.2023 at around 11:00 a.m., the petitioner had come to the shop to collect his blanket that he had given for dry cleaning about two months ago. It is alleged that when Respondent No. 2 told the petitioner that it would take some time, the petitioner started abusing Respondent No. 2, whereafter, he went away from the shop. 4. It is alleged that around 7:00 p.m., while Respondent No. 2 was going towards his house, the petitioner returned and stabbed Respondent No. 2 on the right side of his chest with a knife. Pursuant to a complaint given by Respondent No. 2 the present FIR was registered. 5.
