The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 53/2017 dated 31.01.2017, registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar, for offence under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. It is averred that the marriage between the petitioner and Respondent No. 2 was solemnized on 04.12.1998 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. It is stated that two children were born out of the said wedlock, who are now major.
