Shoaib, son of Aslam Khan, has moved this habeas corpus writ petition challenging his detention under Section 3(2) of the National Security Act, 1980 (for short, the NSA) by virtue of the order dated 19.11.2024 passed by the District Magistrate, Mau and confirmed by the State Government vide order dated 31.12.2024. The petitioner prays that by the grant of a rule nisi, the respondents be directed to produce him and, after declaring his detention illegal, he be set at liberty. 2.
