Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the entire exercise is a farce as the informant was present at the time of the inquest proceedings and has been arrayed as panch witness no.1 in the said inquest proceedings, which started at 10:45 a.m. and were concluded at 12:15 p.m. the same day, and the FIR was instituted at 11:45 a.m. the same day.
