The present bail application has been filed on behalf of applicant with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 242 of 2025, under Sections 8, 21, 33 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station Civil Line, District Muzaffar Nagar. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that 4.800 Kg drugs are alleged to have been recovered from the residence of the applicant. In fact no such recovery was effected from the applicant. He submits that the FIR has been lodged by the Drug Inspector and not by the concerned Police Authority of the concerned Police Station, which is not permissible under the law.
