No. 113 of 1984 convicting and sentencing the appellants under section 302/34 I.P.C. to imprisonment for life and for five years each under section 201 I.P.C. 3. In short, the facts are that on 20.6.1984 at about 1.00 p.m., the daughter of Ram Swarup, named Pachcho, aged about 5 years, was playing with village-children; that she became untraceable and, therefore, Ram Swarup lodged a report at the police station concerned; that subsequently the above named Pachcho was found murdered and her dead-body was extracted from the well situated in the out-skirts of the village; that the face of the dead-body was smeared and there was 'Sindoor' in her 'Maan
