The facts, in brief, are that during court proceedings, the respondent/contemnor, who was representing the accused, addressed the learned prosecutor with the words ‘Aap chalva lo, jaise aapko Court chalvani hai.’, thereby implying that it was the prosecutor and not the presiding judge, who controlled the court, and thereby scandalizing the court and lowering its authority. 5.
