The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 132/2024 dated 12.04.2024, registered at Police Station Dwarka South, for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. It is averred that the marriage between Petitioner No. 1 and Signature Not Verified Signed By:SANJAY CRL.M.C. 8270/2025 Page 1 of 7 KUMAR Signing Date:24.11.2025 21:23:04 Respondent No. 2 was solemnized on 02.05.2021 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. Thereafter, due to matrimonial discord, some misunderstandings took place between the parties, due to which Petitioner No. 1 and Respondent No. 2 started living separately. Petitioner Nos. 2 & 3 are the family members of Petitioner No. 1. 3. Subsequently, Respondent No.2 made a complaint against Petitioner No. 1 and his family members alleging that she was subjected to cruelty by them, which later culminated into the present FIR. 4. Chargesheet has been filed against the petitioners in the present case. Petitioner Nos. 1 & 2 has been charged for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC and Petitioner No. 3 has been charged for offences under Sections 498A/406/34/354 of the IPC. 5.
