This petition is directed against order dated 08.02.2025 passed under Section 129(1) of the Goods and Services Act, 2017 ('Act') whereby on account of petitioner's depositing the amount under Section 129(1)(a) of the Act, the proceedings have been concluded. 2. Various submissions have been made by counsel for the petitioner seeking to question detention of the vehicle and imposition of the penalty under Section 129(1)(a) of the Act. 3. Submission has been made that difference in the weight of the goods was only on account of tare weight, the cancellation of the registration of the consignee was stayed by the Delhi High Court and that the order was passed prior to the date fixed for filing reply and therefore, the order impugned be quashed and set aside and that the amount deposited may be ordered to be refunded. 4.
