This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to question the validity of the order dated 08.08.2023, Annexure - 1 to the writ petition, passed by the respondent no. 1 whereby the registration of the petitioner has been cancelled. 3. The petitioner was issued a show cause notice for cancellation of registration dated 22.07.2023 under Section 29(2)(c) of the U.P. Goods and Services Act, 2017 ('Act') having failed to furnish return for the prescribed period and was required to appear on 31.07.2023. The registration of the petitioner was suspended from the date of issuance of notice. 4. Apparently, the petitioner neither filed reply nor appeared before the authority and on 08.08.2023 the order impugned was passed cancelling the registration with effect from 31.07.
