Sri Manish Mishra, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions, has stated that though the claim of the petitioner was previously rejected, but on re-consideration of some relevant facts, the claim is under re-consideration of the competent authority based on the fresh report submitted by the Sub-Divisional Officer on 03.05.2025. He has further stated that the petitioner has not impleaded the Director, Social Welfare Department as an opposite party, who is competent authority to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner. That being the position, we dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the competent authority for considering the claim of the petitioner, afresh.
