Sri Hemant Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the Jila Panchayat, has stated that the ongoing construction of the road over the disputed land has been stopped for want of demarcation. Unless the demarcation proceedings are settled, the Jila Panchayat does not intend to construct the road, which shall be constructed only after demarcation of the land and without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner. 2. The trees shall also not be cut unless the demarcation proceedings are concluded. 3. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
