By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "i) ISSUE a writ, rule or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the respondents to pay family pension to the petitioner including areas of family pension together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of accrual of the date of actual payment." 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that in the above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned by making representation and the Department of Finance Controller, U.P. Police Headquarter had already written to the Superintendent of Police, Pilibhit on 14.01.2020 to take final decision in the matter of the application of the petitioner dated 06.01.2020. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that Superintendent of Police concerned may be directed to t
