By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has assailed the order of transfer dated 09.12.2024 on the ground that the petitioner is entitled to continue at the station where his wife is posted and since wife is posted at Chandauli, accordingly he may be permitted to retain his posting at Chandauli. 3. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that as per the transfer policy quoted in the Government Order dated 11.06.2024 husband and wife both as far as possible may be posted at same station.
