By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner, who is retired from respondent establishment on 31.10.2021, prays for arrears of salary on account of benefit given to him of second stage of Assured Career Progression Scheme. It is contended that in the above regard petitioner has already approached the authority by means of representation dated 05.03.2024 which is still pending consideration. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation which may be directed to be decided by respondent no. 2 strictly in accordance with law.
