By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order dated 25.04.2025 whereby he has been awarded punishment of censure. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner can question this order of punishment before the departmental appeal under the relevant U.P. Government Servant Discipline and Appeal Rules, 1999. 4. Counsel for petitioner could not dispute the same. 5. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage, however, it is provided that in the event petitioner prefers a departmental appeal before the competent authority within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the appellate authority within a further period of two months. 6.
