By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for regularization under the Uttar Pradesh Regularization of Persons Working on Daily Wages or on Work Charge or on Contract in Government Departments on Group 'C' And Group 'D' Posts (Outside the Purview of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) Rules, 2016 (herein after referred to as 'Regularization Rules, 2016'). It is pleaded in the writ petition that petitioner has been working as clerk-cum-typist in the office of the respondent since 1st October, 1995. It is further contended that even though petitioner's services came to be dispensed with against which petitioner had approached the Labour Court, which made an award in favour of the petitioner on 18th April, 2006.
