By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the competent respondent authority to release the arrears on account of pay & allowances for the training period from 25.07.2019 to 23.01.2020 as a Second Officer Fire Services at the Training College State Fire Service, Unnav alongwith the interest at the rate of 6% P.A. in favour of the petitioner." It transpires from the record that petitioners have already represented the matter before the respondent No.- 5 on 24th September, 2019 for consideration of his claim but till date no decision has been taken in the matter.
