By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner is praying for a relief in the nature of mandamus to command respondent no. 2 to decide the claim of family pension vide representation made by the petitioner on 08.04.2025 brought on record as Annexure No. 3 to the petition. It is pleaded vide paragraph no. 6 of the petition that the petitioner was absolutely dependent upon his wife and was not employed in Government or Semi-Government establishment.
