By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment on account of his father dying in harness while working as Volunteer in Pradeshik Rakshak Dal in the year 2015. 3. It is contended by learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner that petitioner was minor at the time of death of his father and when he has attained the age of majority, he filed a representation on 27.07.2023 before the competent authority seeking compassionate appointment but till date no decision has been taken on the same. 4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf State does not have any objection in the event direction is issued to the authority concerned to take a decision upon representation of the petitioner within
