Heard Sri Adarsh Bhushan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has challenged the order of punishment as well as the order passed by the Appellate Authority. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner has efficacious alternative remedy of revision under the relevant U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Ranks (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991. 4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the above proposition of law. 5. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage. 6.
