Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has questioned the order passed by the punishing authority as well as order passed by the Appellate Authority. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy to file revision under the relevant service rules. 4. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage. 5. However, it is provided that in the event petitioner prefers revision before the competent authority within four weeks, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the competent authority by a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of two months.
