By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for payment of salary for the period from month January 2023 to June 2023 along with interest as he remained under suspension during the said period. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has earlier challenged the suspension order vide Writ - A No. 531 of 2023 in which the suspension order was stayed. In view of the above, the petitioner continues to remain in employment but ultimately disciplinary proceedings have culminated into an order of reinstatement of the petitioner in service closing the entire disciplinary proceedings. Thus, according to the petitioner the said earlier writ petition has now become infructuous and now petitioner's claim for payment of salary deserves to be allowed. It is contended that
