By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3 to decide the representation dated 19.04.2025, pending before the respondent no.3, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." It is submitted that father of the petitioner died on 23.01.2025 and, accordingly, he made a representation on 19.04.2025 for compassionate appointment. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law.
