By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/ directing the authority concerned to ensure the payment of family pension to the petitioner being unmarried daughter of the deceased employee, who died during service period on 11.03.2023, month to month and further to provide the arrears of the family pension to the petitioner." It appears from the records that the petitioner has already represented the matter to the respondent no. 2 on 21.01.2025 which is still pending consideration. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into and consider the grievance of the petition
